Product Introduction

S355J2+N is the most common high strength steel for construction . It is a non-alloy structural steel to EN10025-2 2004. With its increase yield strength of S355 MPa over other construction steels such as S275 and S235 it is an excellent choice for delivering critical components or major structural members. It is also the modern equivalent of the EN10025 1990 S355J2G3

S355 J2 +N plates come with either a 3.1 or 3.2 MTC to En10204. The difference is that the 3.2 plates have been independently verified by a third party inspector, usually Lloyds Register or DNV, whilst the 3.1 plates have been certified by the mill based on their  ISO 9001:2010 quality system

S355J2+N and S355J2G3 are the same steel grades as both grades delivery condition are normalized. G3 and N stand for normalized.
