Steel pipe inspection items

The following aspects are the main testing items of seamless steel pipe, precision steel pipe, cold-drawn steel pipe and welded steel pipe:

1 Appearance size detection:  steel pipe surface quality, wall thickness, outer diameter detection, inner diameter detection, concentricity detection, surface smoothness and finish detection, straightness detection, etc.

2. Mechanical properties testing: steel pipe tensile test, tensile strength, impact test, bending test, compression test, shear test, breaking test, yield strength, elongation after breaking, stripping test, fatigue test, flattening test, etc.

3. Chemical composition analysis: C, Si, Mn, P, S, Cr, Ni, Cu, Mo, Ti, V, N, Al, etc.

4. Coating detection: steel pipe coating quality, zinc layer adhesion, uniformity, coating thickness, corrosion resistance detection.

5. Metallographic analysis: steel pipe metallographic test, microstructure, low microstructure, grain size, non-metallic inclusion, energy spectrum analysis, etc.

6. Non-destructive testing: steel pipe ultrasonic testing, ultrasonic weld, non-destructive testing, eddy current testing, etc

7. Other testing items required by customer order.
