China's net exports of stainless steel fell in February from the previous month
Recently, the General Administration of Customs released China's stainless steel import and export statistics in February this year. In February, China's stainless steel imports and exports decreased month-on-month, and net exports decreased month-on-month.
From the import point of view, in February, China stainless steel imports were 222,400 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 10,600 tons, a decrease of 4.55%; An increase of 35,200 tons, or 18.78%, compared to the same period last year. Among them, China imported a total of 202,400 tons of 304 316 stainless steel from Indonesia, a decrease of 3% from the previous year, an increase of 35.1%. From January to February, China's stainless steel imports totaled 455,500 tons, an increase of 117,800 tons, an increase of 34.89%. Among them, China's imports of stainless steel from Indonesia totaled 411,000 tons, an increase of 157,900 tons, an increase of 62.4%.
From the export point of view, in February, China's stainless steel exports were 258,300 tons, a decrease of 158,800 tons from the previous month, a decrease of 38.08%; An increase of 0.54 million tons, an increase of 2.12%. From January to February, China's stainless steel exports totaled 675,400 tons, an increase of 57,600 tons, an increase of 9.32%.
Overall, in February, China's net exports of stainless steel were 35,900 tons, down 80.53% month-on-month and 45.4% year-on-year. From January to February, China's net exports of stainless steel totaled 219,900 tons, a decrease of 60,200 tons, or 21.5%.
